Includes the hit song,
"Rootsy New Orleans and Americana Blues. Contains John Lee's WC Handy nominated blues song of the Year, "Foreclose on the House of Love". Recorded in Berkeley California with some of the greatest musicians in the area, including members of Santana, Miles Davis Band, Tower of Power. John also booked various studios on while touring, to capture some of his favorite musicians, such as Kenny Bill Stinson (Slide Guitar) in West Monroe Lousiana, and Butch Coulter (harmonica) in Quebec Canada. This CD has it's roots of John Lee's home in Louisiana, but also shows the sophistication of his West Coast blues influence in working with artists such as Jimmy Withersppon, Tower of Power, Robben Ford and others. John shows off his Keyboard and writing skills on these tracks but also shows off some amazing soloists, including Garth Webber on guitar who toured with Miles Davis in the 80's. Also included is David K. Mathews, Hammond Organ who is the Amazing keyboardist with Etta James.
